Girls Folkstyle Wrestling Camp

In wrestling, there are two groups—those who follow the pack, and those who set the pace.

The Ahead of the Pack Camp is built for athletes who want to separate themselves from the rapidly rising level of girls wrestling in Iowa.

This sport is growing fast. The competition is getting better every year.

Hosted by Lion Chaser Wrestling Club out of 23:20 Training Center, with the support of Cardinal High School wrestling, this camp is designed to build wrestlers who are aggressive, confident, and prepared for the next level.

This three-day camp is designed for girls in grades 7–12 who want to sharpen their skills, compete at a higher level, and grow in a focused, high-intensity environment.
Each session includes:
- Advanced technical instruction
- High-rep drilling and situational work
- Situational sparring
- Individualized coaching and feedback
Session I: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Break: 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM
Session II: 10:15 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Cardinal Middle-Senior High School | 4045 Ashland Road, Eldon, IA
Our goal is to help each wrestler become more confident, more aggressive, and more effective in every position.
Athletes will focus on:
- Expanding their setups and shot arsenal
- Developing reliable go-to attacks
- Building dominance with top control and turns
- Improving escapes and mat awareness from referee’s position
This camp is about refining your style, increasing your mat IQ, and building tools you can rely on in competition.
Girls wrestling in Iowa is no longer developing—it’s exploding.
The level of competition is rising quickly, and the gap between average and elite is growing with it.

LCWC Wrestler Rate: $120 + tax
Early Bird Rate (May 18 - June 1): $140 (deadline passed)
Standard Rate (June 2 - 30): $160 (deadline passed)
